Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino Visit the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion
On March 12, 2025, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino visited the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 venue. Prince Akishino serves as the Honorary President of the Expo.
During their visit, Their Imperial Highnesses toured the “Grand Roof Ring,” which has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest wooden structure in the world. The structure, built using traditional Japanese techniques with domestically sourced cedar and cypress, drew particular interest from Prince Akishino.
Following this, they visited the Japan Pavilion, which focuses on circular sustainability, as well as the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, which highlights themes of life and health.
