Successful Mass Production of MOF in Collaboration with Arakawa Chemical Industries
SyncMOF, in collaboration with Arakawa Chemical Industries, has successfully achieved the mass production of MOF (Metal-Organic Frameworks).
The focus of this achievement is MIL-101(Cr), a high-performance MOF known for its exceptional adsorption properties. However, its synthesis traditionally requires high temperature and pressure conditions, making large-scale production extremely challenging.
Through joint research efforts, the two companies have successfully scaled up production to over 100 kg per batch. This breakthrough opens the door to full-scale industrial applications of MOFs.
Moving forward, SyncMOF will accelerate the social implementation of MOF materials, particularly in gas separation applications such as CO₂ capture.
